This work mimics the cultural tradition amongst Yoruba kings who are seen wearing beaded crowns that covers their faces when stepping out to public gatherings. In this work, the bottle covers juxtapose the beads which serves as a veil covering the king’s face. Uche incorporated up-cycled art in this striking piece of photography. Utilising bottle tops and surrounding materials to create the beaded crown.
